Don’t forget the swim team scandal.
Don’t forget having to PAY $6 million to BYU just to be able to hire this dumpster fire. Then he’s stupid enough to put in Popes deal that he gets another year on his contract for every sweet 16 he makes. FREAKING SWEET 16! I swear to god Mitch is the most incompetent AD in the country and it’s not remotely close. Even Vandy would have fired him by now.

Mitch is absolutely the type that gives out participation trophies and is happy when everyone tries their best and has fun. Friggin dumb@ss. I’d love to put multiple pop knots on his head and dot his beady little eyes.

honestly, I’m not even mad at Pope. I actually feel very bad for him. I bet he was as surprised as anyone when Mitch offered him the job. It’s not like Pope was this once-great coach who regressed to what he is now (like Cal did). He never was a good coach. It’s hard to fault a guy for failing to do something he's never done before. It’s not his fault that Mitch offered him the job. Any of us would’ve taken it if we were in his shoes. I’m sure he’s equally as disappointed in himself as we are with the current situation, and it's not fair that he was asked to fill a role that he couldn't possibly fill

This is absolutely 1000% Mitch's fault, and it is borderline criminal that he even interviewed Pope for the job in the first place. He handed the keys of a Ferrari to a kid who wasn't ready for it. The negligence is astounding

Jasper Johnson being a selfish player once again. I can always tell when he's going to jack a forced three. He can transfer after this year too if his daddy doesn't like the criticism.

MB's top 3 replacement candidates: Jon Hood, Jarrod Polson or Michael Porter (minus his legal issues).

I'm quite confident that JQ would have made up this 32-point deficit. We just have to be patient.

Injuries are to blame for derailing our season. It's so clear to me. None of this is Pope's fault. His quiet passive and reserved personality is clearly helping these players reach the next competitive level.

Real maturity to this assessment and truth to the comment. Mitch set him up for failure.

How Mitch is still employed after Gillispie, Cal last five years and now this is, is beyond me. He should be civilly sued along with board of trustees for breaching their fiduciary responsibilities. It is beyond belief
He not only isn’t getting sued he is going to get paid 800K to do nothing when he retires.

Eli Capilouto has to be a Kansas fan or literally cares nothing about UK basketball to keep giving Mitch contract extensions.
