Mitch should have been fired 5 times during his tenure. He needs to thank Matt Jones for brainwashing a lot of the fan base into thinking he’s done a good job. I can give 5 examples of times he did things that were incompetent. Not just bad but incompetent.

honestly, I’m not even mad at Pope. I actually feel very bad for him. I bet he was as surprised as anyone when Mitch offered him the job. It’s not like Pope was this once-great coach who regressed to what he is now (like Cal did). He never was a good coach. It’s hard to fault a guy for failing to do something he's never done before. It’s not his fault that Mitch offered him the job. Any of us would’ve taken it if we were in his shoes.
