Pope vs Cal?

Hard to say. Penetration is what kills Cal more than anything, because of his goofball defensive philosophies. And we really don't have that to speak of this year. Cal will still be in jilted lover mode, especially after having smelled blood in the water they way we started this season.
But JQ is a monster. And Pope is really resourceful--even more resourceful than Cal at his best--when he has the type of roster he will have if Kam and BG continue on their recent paths and if Lowe is also as healthy as can be hoped this year.

I wanna see a few SEC games before answering.
First answer is we lose, I just don’t like how we matchup. We can’t stop penetration and they have dynamic guards like always.

Lol, we couldn't beat them last year in rupp when they were 0-5 and we were the better team. Some of you all are ignorant as **** if you're expecting or anticipating a win in this one.
Anytime we have to play at BWA and they have a good team, I pencil it in as a loss before the season. Doesn’t matter if Cal’s coaching or Stan Heath. It’s a tough place to play. Many times I’ve been pleasantly surprised, sometimes not. As of this moment I’d have to give them the edge based on early returns, but I would have said the same about UK last year.
I ain’t scared of Cal and I’m not gonna trash my coach and kiss the former coach’s ***.
All conference road games are hard. We will likely be underdogs in that game that will he played a month from now, but somehow is at top of mind on Dec. 31, 2025.
