I liked EVERYTHING about the denim uniforms except for the denim.

Seriously - the huge letters KENTUCKY straight across the chest. The font of the numbers. That UK logo in the circle on the shorts. The thick single stripe down the side. It was a classy look.

The only thing I did not like was that in denim the shade of blue was just not right. It was too light and would seem to get lighter as the players worked up a sweat.

Now if they could take everything about the denim uniform and just make it our of regular fabric I think we would have something.

I don’t get the appeal other than nostalgia. I think they look very dated and boring, but my opinion isn’t worth much to the decision makers at UK. I’m fine with one or two games. Any more than that and I would hate it.

Agreed. I honestly didn’t dislike anything about them. Kinda wild they brought them out during that particular season. That team was an absolute juggernaut!

Classic, it’s pretty legendary actually that the only team that ever wore those uniforms is the greatest in our history. I had the shoes.
