Tyler Knox will be graduating from Stanford this spring and just hit the Transfer Portal. I’m really hoping we are after Crookham and Knox. We NEED a 133.
And you can’t wish Stanich into the portal. Reports I am hearing is that he is staying put at Lehigh.
That lineup will definitely going to put up a fight against PSU. At this point I really don't care who beats them as long as they get beat. We need good compeition and we need it now. Hopefully a couple of our guys will be part of PSU's downfall as well.
We need to have great classes containing at least a couple top 10 p4p every year just to compete for top 3 or 4. If we want to roll with the top two we're going to have to be able to match their recruiting and their ability to make kids winners come March. It has nothing to do with DT being the new exicting coach or Cael being Cael. It's about bringing in star talent and then that talent bringing home the gold come NCAAs. DT has five champs in two years; that's not because he's new and exciting, it's because he can make them NCAA champs. That's what draws those top recruits IMO. Hell we could in JB or Nolf or whomever else is out there, but if they don't show their worth in March it won't matter.
It has everything to do with cael and Taylor lol no one is coming in with a bigger appeal then those 2... thats ridiculous

Crookham checks every possible box. Just need him to stay healthy. I know that has been a big bugaboo at Iowa lately, but he is a huge upgrade with Ayala graduating…
I can totally see your point and for a Penn State, Oklahoma State, Iowa, etc. that could be construed as a mid-level recruit. I just personally have a hard time classifying a kid ranked in the low 40's that way because he would have been the highest ranked recruit at like 60 different schools in the year he graduated high school. In my opinion, it's hard to classify someone a mid-level guy when they would be the highest ranked recruit in a class at almost 80% of D1 wrestling programs. It's probably not worth any more debate on the subject...that's just where my brain goes and why I didn't classify him that way.
Swaw knows his stuff… When he talks, it’s best to take him seriously.
Last summer he knew of Kevin Ward leaving Army for Okie St. before it was announced or knew of.
There’s a plethora of stuff he said on that tweet that is super interesting.
