idk how the portal would work with incoming freshman or if you could still flip them at this point but someone worth a look in my opinion is Reagan Milheim. Could be a 65er and placed 2nd, 1st, 2nd, 2nd in PA. Lost to Melvin miller the last 2 years in the finals losing 5-4 or 4-3 this year. Then at the all star classic he had Jayden James on the ropes scoring multiple takedowns. He was down 1 with short time and James was gassed, took a shot and got put to his back to make the final 17-10. He’s currently committed to American where his older brother attends.
If we're after committed recruits, first ones should be Bassett and Miller.

Heavily rumored that Knox, Garvin, and Norman are going to ISU. ISU was recruiting pretty hard at NCAAs lol.
My guess is NC St for those guys. They need a 133, 174 and 184. It would give them a super tough team.

Best of luck to him. I will be cheering for him next year. I am really bummed by how the way things turned out and were handled. I don’t want to place blame but it is just unfortunate.

but, if I was Lockett, I would think hard about Iowa. He can step right in and be a leader and train with Caliendo instead of being 4th fiddle at OSU

I think he was thinking about this for awhile. No pomp at all in that announcement. That’s a get me the hell out of dodge comment.
Or just that somebody said he’s not getting paid next year. This is a perfect example of somebody who is just in it for the money. Another reason why I love going after portal guys with two or more years – – if they don’t pan out the first year then they don’t get paid the second or third.

he had 2 JUCO years, 3 years a Wartburg, This season at Iowa. Even if he qualifies for medical redshirt, JUCO years must not count at all? Seems like that rule is not applied fairly.
remember In 24-25 season Endene went to Wisconsin and was in their room for a month with plans to wrestle there and quit and showed back up at Wartburg in early Sept 2025.

Look, I would truly love for the board to be that way. I really would. Sadly, it isn’t even remotely close. So, I dive right in.
I also believe the ignore function is the coward’s way out. I don’t want to visit an echo chamber. I simply want those differing viewpoints to at least have SOME basis in reality or at least somewhat belong on an IOWA wrestling forum. When I believe they don’t, it is fun for me to point that out in the most annoying, but often creative way possible…

Do your thing. I actually agreed with much of what you said. I would be completely content if this board somehow morphed into the type of place you mentioned. It will NEVER happen, but it definitely would be welcomed!
