Something I've been thinking about - and im sure this conversation is already happening elsewhere:

Do you think at some point that recruiting will become like the NFL draft, with poorly performing teams getting preference? By extension, the portal will morph into free agency - maybe after sophomore year players become eligible.

Yes, once democrats take over college football, too

The democrats are at their lowest and least powerful incarnation in the history of the party. They have no vision and no meaningful leader, not since Obama was in office. Woke/DEI was a bad hand to go all-in on.

It was more of a comment on rewarding poor-performing teams rather than letting natural competition determine the outcome
