Excellent points .Most of the guys are complaining are agenda driven and have the frustration tolerance of a 2 year old. They didn't want him hired and since the season went better than expected they have picked this hill to die on.

All players aren’t the same. For some players it’s about money and location. Some location it’s about history and money. Now we have to evaluate who’s coming back, the freshmen, and the portal and who’s making what. It’s different than having an empty roster. Josh Dix said to be the fourth or fifth best in the portal. A lot of top programs on him. Wonder why not us? Really good offensive player.
How do you know UK has not spoken with Dix? Did you or others know that Pope had spoken with Kam? I don’t understand how many posters on this site, not just you BigBlue, post as if they are getting minute-to-minute updates from Coach Pope himself. There are probably hundreds of players who have yet to submit their names. I don’t think that anyone on this forum knows who the staff is speaking to besides the players that have been on Zoom or other such media.
Portal rankings are just subjective guesses from writers who don’t know these players and have probably seldom seen these guys play. For example Brandon was the highest ranked portal player that we signed last year. His contribution probably ranked above Ansley’s and that’s it.
Some posters want us to sign the “Top 5” ranked players in the portal even if they all happen to be point guards!!
Relying on our contact list. Maybe they did, but he isn't on the list we contacted him. He just looks like a solid three position to me. Would take the Robinson spot as a reliable shooter and scorer. Fundamentals are good compared to some we are recruiting.

Saw a tweet from Evan Turner, former Ohio State player that stated Josh Dix was going to Kentucky. This was from March 21. Who knows if Turner is in the know or not. Rumors flying everywhere. I trust Pope to get the right guys no matter who we might want.
