Who cares? The Big Ten didn't have a tournament at all until 20 years ago. The Ivy League didn't have anything either until they added the 4 team tournament about 5 years ago. When Hank Gathers died on the court in 1990 or 1991 the West Coast Conference ended the tournament and just granted the bid to the #1 seed Loyola Marymount. Most of the small conferences already had their tournaments and selected a champion. Mostly just the big boys left and most teams that would've won these big tournaments would've been in any way.Except there could be a team whose only chance at the NCAAs was winning its conference tourney and since they were all canceled that throws a monkey wrench into this idea.
Dayton must of all.Do it, Rutgers and other schools deserve the recognition.
Regular season champions are better than lucky tournament winnersExcept there could be a team whose only chance at the NCAAs was winning its conference tourney and since they were all canceled that throws a monkey wrench into this idea.
Time to move on.

Your actually right. I was wrong to post that and it did show a clear lack of sympathy for a group of players who accomplished something not done here in 30 years. . I guess it was Just out of frustration of a long week I apologize for that post.Your complete lack of sympathy, empathy, and/or respect for the kids who busted their asses all year for this reward -SPECIFICALLY for the seniors - is stunning. You should be ashamed of yourself.

The conferences would award a champion whichever they want- e.g. FSU and Yale were already declared champions of their leagues.Except there could be a team whose only chance at the NCAAs was winning its conference tourney and since they were all canceled that throws a monkey wrench into this idea.
