Looking through the Brackets, I see some very possible upsets. Not sure how good TW Andrews really is but should they have to face Clinton, it could be ugly. Beyond that, should Clinton make it to West Craven, WC better bring their A Game.

I could see RS Central and East Burke winning 1st round game against higher seed. Bandys and West Iredell could upset higher seed in 2nd rd.
I haven't seen Bandy's this year so I can't elaborate on how they will match up with Stuart Cramer. Their record is deceiving given who they lost to. This is not your typical SC team. They are big and physical with a really mobile QB. Weakness is depth. An injury or two could completely derail them.

Bandys is tough, just play in brutal conference. Cramer has a good win over Linconton so im sure it will be a good game.

I’ve seen Bandy’s, Newton, Maiden, all in person this year. Cramer is bigger than all 3 teams. Cramer #9 LB ( LR COMMIT) about 6’1 ish 220 ish also plays full back in that “old school power I formation” is a great 2 way player. #4 TE/DE is 6’3 255 lbs is a monster on the field. Also rated a 3 STAR. Holds a few D1 offers. They also put him out Wide at receiver. He had a monster game against Shelby. Cramer doesn’t have a ton of depth. 2 losses came to burns & Shelby. But was in the game with both teams.

I wouldn’t call it an upset. But with the set up of the RPI. I guess it would be lol
I believe Lincolnton is a scary team at the 8 seed. Lincolnton having 6 starters out against Cramer (RB,FS, TE, RG, LB, DE) & losing that game to a tough Cramer team. Hurt the chance of the wolves being a top 4 seed in the playoffs. But they were all back against WL this past week.

Also, The Wolves only start 3 seniors. Wolves make a run this year. Watch the next 2 years. Sophomore & Junior heavy.

From everything I have read on this earlier, it sounds like a lot of people on here think Bandys is the best 5-5 team in the state.

I haven't seen Clinton or WRH play so I can't/won't comment on them.

Have seen Bandys a few times. Won't say they're the best 5-5 team in the state, but I will say that they're a pretty solid team. They're led by their QB, but they also have pieces at RB and a couple at WR.

They aren't the biggest group up front, but don't let that fool you. They can and will out-work you. I think that group on both sides has done a great job all season long despite being undersized.

All of their losses - aside from the East Lincoln game - are one-possession losses. A 5-point loss @ Kings Mountain; 1-point loss to Newton-Conover; 7-point loss to Maiden and a 2-point OT loss @ Hickory.

Not sure how deep a run they'll make, but it's been a tremendous season for them despite the 5-5 record. I know teams won't do it, but don't look at their 5-5 record and think it'll be a walk in the park - much like it won't be with either of those other teams mentioned like Clinton or WRH.

Looking forward to seeing how the playoffs all unfold.

Trust me SC can’t overlook anyone. Only one kid on the team has any playoff experience and that was 1 game as a 9th grader. Looking forward to seeing Bandys QB, just hope we don’t see too much of him.😂😂

7 point loss to Maiden can be deceiving...was down 21 with 1.5 minutes left. We pulled our starters and they scored, then "recovered" an onside kick in which they touched the ball before it went 10 yards. Was able to score again on a deep pass (2 starter DBs out with injuries - reason we pulled people to begin with was bc they got hurt and didn't want to risk more injury). They are very capable, but can be ran on, they have a great ability to pour on points at the very end.

I like this new Otis and his new found confidence. I wish the dogs of Wallace would ride your coat tails like you rode theirs for the past few season. I almost thought you were from Wallace at one point. :geek::cool:
I got several good friends over there I enjoy hanging out with. I consider Kevin Motsinger a friend as well. I may go to their game Friday since we got a bye. Come on and join us. I’ll buy supper at Rose Hill Restaurant!
