This is at least in 1A about the only score that surprised me. I expect Draughn to but no by that big of a margin.
I did.. granted I expected Elkin to get double digits. Elkin's BADLY beat up right now. Had to fold the JV's one week due to injuries on the varsity (they were able to play the JV finale though.) Elkin's QB broke his collarbone and their offense fell apart.

I wasn't doubt it was correct just surprised.
Of course the biggest surprise I've had tonight was actually in 4A and probably the biggest upset is 4-6 #27 Cuthberson beating 8-2 #6 Watauga 42-31
Elkin became very beat up the last several weeks of the season. A number of key players injured/missing from what they started the year with.
Unless the other team had some key injuries in the last game how do you go from beating a team 42-28 and two weeks later lose to that same team 56-21?
Hope they are at full strength now. Sounds like a chicken stew night for sure.
Well from looks like it unless there's one in the East that someone has reported that 1A is the only classification with no upsets.
Yes Graham played tonight. Had one receiving td and a decent amount of rushing yards but was very limited on carries tonight. Not sure if just taking it easy on him first game back or if it was just the game plan. Either way he was back tonight.
Hobbton played really flat in that first matchup. Tonight they executed. Also, a few bounces didn’t go Lakewood’s way and things kinda snowballed on them.

Should eliminate this round it’s a waste of time and an opportunity for teams with a chance to sustain injuries
Not to mention all the gas burnt up and hours on the road to get no scoring for a lot of teams and maybe a TD here and there tonight.
There will be some good games next week.
Very boring night of football. It was so quiet you could everything said on the field.
