Congrats to Indiana. Disappointed offensive output. Thought defense gave us a chance in first half. Perimeter guys did a good job. Couldn't get a rhythm.
Frustrating: Energy was good to start game. Morgan was in foul trouble. Our defense could only hold on for so long.
Lindsey: Fresh approach. Get to work, gets shots up. Last thing I tell him to do is stop shooting. Got a lot of good ones he just didn't knock down. When not shooting from outside, gotta find a way to get layups, get to the line.
Missing shots: IU's defense was good, I don't want to take anything away. That said, we didn't cut hard, we didn't screen hard, we weren't strong with the ball.
Surprised about team: I'm disappointed. Just because a lot of guys are back doesn't mean it's the same team. It's a new team. Have to re-establish toughness, grit. I take responsibility. It's frustrating.
BMac: Newkirk did a good job. They did a good job with the pick-and-roll game. Rolled ankle late in first half, wasn't same.
2-3 zone: Have to mix coverages. Successful against Minnesota. Had success in first half. Early in second half, IU got high-low action to get good looks. Our guys believe in it.
Isiah Brown: He's been struggling. He's just got to be ready. I'm mixing and matching lineups. LIked what Ash gave us the last couple games. Like what Isiah gave us today. Hopefully he finds a way to contribute going forward.
