Opening statement
: Really good win for our guys. To come on the road and get a win against a really good defensive team, a well-coached team. Amir Coffey was phenomenal, on offense and defense, that was just a really good win from start to finish.

On why Coffey played the entire game: I'm not that bad of a coach. You gotta let him roll, he's just a phenomenal player. He's talented.

On Northwestern's struggles: They don't have a pure point guard and they don't shoot the ball great. When you're playing Vic Law at the point, Gaines at the point, those are guys that are not playing at the right position so it's really hard.

Opening statement:
Disappointing loss for us, give credit to Minnesota. Coffey was phenomenal, he was terrific tonight. I thought we did a really good job on their bigs. Our inability to score has been our kryptonite. Every time we try to get some momentum we just can't string together two-three-four buckets together. That's been the thing that's really hurt us this year.

On Nance: He did well. He really got sick, lost a lot of weight and conditioning, to be thrown in on the front line, all things considered he did a lot of good things.

On the free throw disparity: We're not a team that really posts up and goes inside. I don't think it was the reason that we lost tonight, it was a 19-10 disparity. it was Coffey, our scoring and turnovers.

On Taylor: First of all there's a concerted effort from other teams to not give him shots. I have to continue to try and do a good job of getting him into spots where he can help us, we need production, we only had four guys that scored if you take Falzon's three out. There's a lot of athletic guys that are getting up on him and they've done a great job of that. Certain areas where he might get more looks, it's just the make-up of this team.

On these types of losing streaks: It's not easy, tonight we weren't worthy of winning, but there were a handful of games we could've won. For those guys not to be rewarded with winning, it can take a toll on you. I don't see anybody laying down, I don't see any quit in our guys. I've got guys that are going to do everything in their power to make things right.

On Kopp: We think he has a chance to be a very good player. This year has been a great experience for him. He did some really good things tonight. You're going to see him and Pete make a really big jump.

On putting up great games and losing:
It's always tough when you don't win, just find a way to get over that hump.

On the team's offensive struggles: We just gotta be able to play clean offense for 40 minutes. When we're able to do that we'll come out with a win.
