I have said this for a long time. I don’t see the point in making kids who just got their heart ripped out to come out and answer a bunch of questions about what just happened. One of the kids from I think maybe Gonzaga was crying his eyes out up there. I say give them the option, and if they don’t want to go, they don’t have to. Maybe they are given that choice, I’m not sure, but I have seen a lot of them up there through the years that sure looked like they didn’t want to be

Those are always such agonizing questions. I know it's their job, but man. It's almost like a kid seeing his puppy run over by a car and 20 minutes later some d bag asks him, what was going through your mind when you heard the crunch of your puppy's skull? Was there lots of blood? When you look back on your puppy's short life, what are some of the things you will remember about him? What about your next puppy, do you think you will get the same kind of puppy as the puppy that just got splattered all over the highway?

I’ll never forget the Baylor kids answer about getting out rebounded. That was awesome

Exactly. Plus, the guy leading the press conference was treating the players like employees: “you are excused” to Zion and RJ when it was over. They owe the media nothing and shouldn’t need permission to leave. I get there are NCAA guidelines about press conferences, but they need to change.
