Pike did not seem too pleased with the hammering of the cell phone incident getting out to the media. In the post game interview session, he is unaware of how it got out. By now I’m sure he’s aware of Derek’s mention.
Then at the end of the interview when asked how he kept the team relaxed (or something along those lines), he responded “by smashing cell phones” which was quite funny.

I saw him look a little miffed. But I viewed it differently. I think he’s really pissed off at the jerks who bombard the players with negative ********. He knows how much it can screw with their heads, how bad it is for them. So I think the irritation we saw was him having to suppress saying what he really thinks about those jerks.
