Unfortunately that's coming even with a change in the coaching staff.
Even the studio announcers said that this team is completely disinterested in playing. He said they looked like they slept all the way back from UCLA and still forgot to wake up.. Even CJF doesn't seem to give a rat's tit about anything.

Today is exactly why he was an idiot for returning. Not only did we already know the scheme didn't fit him but he lost Warren. There was nothing to gain from returning. He'd have gone in the top 50 last year without question and now, depending on the seriousness of the injury, has taken a hit.
If he wanted to stay he should have transferred.
Dumb decisions have consequences.

At the end of the broadcast, Franklin was standing there arms crossed, nobody in sight. He knows it’s over. Will he do the right thing, or dig in for money. That’s the only question left.
Yep. I have long been a Franklin defender but no more; you simply cannot go for it on 4th and 3 from your own 32 down one point with about 4 minutes to go with your back up
QB coming in for his first play after Allar just got hurt and you have all 3 timeouts left and the 2 minute timeout available. Totally inexcusable.
The most underachieving team compared to expectations in the history of any sport, including college and pro. Not baseball. Not basketball. Not football. Never has a team so grossly underperformed at any level. We will never live down nor forget this season. It will haunt us forever. Penn State football may be dead for decades because of this putrid team. The players on this team are soft as marshmallows and the coaches are dumb as rocks. They might well have destroyed everything that Paterno built. They ought to cancel any further stadium construction and spend the money elsewhere. Play future games at State College High.

Any other program with such lofty expectations, resources, and fanbase would replace this coach. Here's hoping Kraft figures it out soon before irreparable damage is done.

Paterno earned his good will for everything he did for the University on and off the field. Most coaches in the old days that had success stayed around a bit.
