Been telling Marshall (and other geniuses) that for years!And just like that, in a quick turnaround, they do something CFJ could never do: beat a top 5 team on the road.

I decided last week after the UCLA loss I will no longer watch PSU this season. Enjoyed watching other games this afternoon with teams who want to compete and coaches who can game plan and make adjustments.

This is a rudderless football program at the very top (CJF) and the OC & DC have failed.
If CJF won't step down, then put him in an AD position, make Terry Smith the HC, demand a defensive change to 3 LBers, and the offensive play calling (drop the gimmicks) and the OL needs straight up run blocking and go max protect for the passing game. This offense now belongs to one of the back up QBs. Use the run game (Allen & one of the RB3s), use play-action passing. Where are WRs Howard & Denmark?
Didn’t watch all the game, but saw enough. Team coached poorly, and undisciplined (penalties). Defense couldn’t stop the run. Too much celebrating (saw the defensive player celebrate after NW’s QB overthrew him – who is the guy kidding). Poor tackling. Offense ineffective considering the competition. Just couldn’t get anything going consistently. Coaches (especially Franklin) standing around like statues. No fire at all in the team (other than to incur penalties due to overenthusiastic play that wasn’t necessary).
Feel sorry for Allar, but that was the risk he took coming back. Don’t think he considered a season-ending ankle injury as part of the “unfinished business” but that’s what he’s got at this point.

No...but playing Allen sustains drives and doesn't allow UCLA to posses the ball for 40 minutes. Plus we should have been pounding the ball with him in the red zone before 4th & 2. Also in neither scenario did I have us 6-0
Someone asked Franklin that earlier this week and he basically said he doesn’t trust them.
I think when you want to demand changes you have to have some skin in the game.
Would a FOIA request work to get the NIL contracts with individual players? I know PSU is not paying them or administering them but we are guiding them. I need to know why certain struggling players like Singleton have been guaranteed playing time.

Being an Alum is not skin in the game. I would guess most of the loudest voices aren't alums and have never been members of the Nittany Lion Club. I'm an Alum BSCE '93 but I don't give anything to better football.

The human side of me feels a little bad for him because I know he obviously wants to do well, but with world class salary also comes world class expectations. He’s a 1 percenter now because of this job, so he’ll be ok.
Same as the booing, always hated to see it with the players, but honestly, it’s different now. QB driving high end Porsches and many cashing huge checks makes me not see them as kids anymore and a little less sympathetic. Just don’t care as much.
