Committee won't have a Bama/Dogs rematch this week but I thought their objective was to pick the top four.
We'll see soon.

Alabama beat #1, they're #1.

Alabama
Michigan (will get killed by Georgia)
Georgia
Cincinnati (Alabama will feast on them)

Alabama vs. Georgia part two in the final

I’d say it should be Michigan, Bama, Georgia, and Cincy…but the committee will avoid the rematch either with Bama at 1, or Georgia at 4. So I expect to see Michigan-Georgia and Alabama-Cincy in some order.

Something I don’t think I saw discussed…Alabama beat #1 Georgia yesterday, and also beat #1 Gonzaga in basketball last night. I wonder if another school ever knocked off the #1 team in the two major sports on the same day.

I don't think most want to see a rematch of Bama and UGA. I am still not sure re UM - Iowa was the perfect option for them, and Ferentz helped give them some added opportunities at the end.

The margin is thin between Michigan and Bama but Bama actually has the better SOS and benefits greatly from beating the #1 team. Their only loss was a FG at the horn on the road. Sure, they had a tight one at Auburn but remember that Michigan also had to hit a GW FG at the buzzer to beat Nebraska so those kinda cancel each other out.

Either way, the committee isn't going to put an SEC rematch in the semis.

If Cincy belongs in, they should be the top seed since they’re undefeated. If you’re not going to put them at #1 as the only undefeated team, then you shouldn’t put them at all.
