Sluggo (Rich) was my golfing partner when RSS did the golf outing one year. Real good guy.

Can't remember his name, but he used to post all of the interesting stats and stories behind them. He retired from the board and people were very disappointed. He was an older gentleman I believe.

His name is Rich and I believe he went to work for the schools in Omaha. Kind of remember he was an attorney.
Alko..ya, from North Platte originally, was living in Oklahoma. He hated OU more than most.
About 10 years ago or so, there was a poster called "Yoda" who would occasionally give out encrypted inside info before it happened and he was right every time.

Some didn't like getting threatening phone calls after the information police did their "board research". Sam-I-Am no longer has a connection to the program. IIRC, he got banned on accident. Ismt that correct @rrthusker? Matya and I reached out to him a few times to try to get him back but it never happened. I have a feeling he's posting, under a different name.

Pelini had Jamrog using university employees to monitor message boards (tracking posts) then tried to track down and intimidate people revealing inside info. A couple of posters on the preceding missing list know more about that than I do although Jamrog supposedly was trying to find me. Apparently Jamrog shook down the whole ancillary staff from water boys to docs because of an educated guess I posted about an injury to a key player which seemed obvious to me by a Watson interview and watching the guy play. They lied about the injury all season long and all it did was make the kid look bad. The Pelinis allegedly physically accosted more than one guy. .

Rojo Grande was the guy I was thinking of, but I didn't think he had passed away. I thought he just sort of got tired of the bickering and retired. He wrote some great posts on history, tradition, and statistical analysis from what I remember.
I am a law school classmate of Sluggo and our kids played together when we still lived in Lincoln, early 90s. Can vouch for him and his wife being great people. He left the board when he started a new career and was kinda tired of all the sniping. I grew up two houses from Sam-I-Am. We were, and I'd like to think still are, buddies. His source was Barney. They were HS classmates. I'm quite hurt that no one mentioned the 4+ years I went without posting (this is where I'd put the smiling face if I knew how to do it).
Sam-I-Am, LouisianaHusker, Beaver (I thought I saw him post recently, not 100% sure tho) Bigred402, Jaw (met him at the KSU game in 2010, cool guy) and yes, HuskerTimOmaha. Not sure if poster above was serious about being him but HTO was a pain in the butt but he was at least intelligent in his arguments. Him and I had some battles back in the day about Bo & Co's recruiting, wonder if he still feels the same about them Smokin Sad to hear we've had a few posters pass away; the names sound familiar but don't remember them too well.
It's ok, when you fly under the radar as myself, you are in perfect position to take over the world.
I love this story. This is a great example of why posters should be cautious in posting because nobody truly knows who you really are and who you really know. Far too often posters are accused incorrectly by others of not knowing what they are talking about.
