They should head on down to Benedictine and play this evening, neutral site and reasonable for all to get to in a short time frame.
Benedictine only has stands on 1 side. Plenty of stands but I don’t like it.

Do the smaller colleges have capability - North Central, Wheaton, Elmhurst? I also like Joliet Memorial stadium as an option.

Dave, I see what you’re saying for sure just trying to pick something central and neutral. How about Triton for 7A & 8A

IHSA just announced Wednesday at NIU

7A at 3pm
8A at 6pm

Make zero sense to me. No reason to use a college stadium for a mid-week game where you will be lucky to get 1500 for either one. A local high school or small college field would have enabled more people to attend and given a better athlete experience (eg less travel)

There's a number of available venues, but that's not the biggest logistical issue. Getting it staffed is.
Don’t discourage Bwm57 from his relentless ramblings on Lincoln-Way North… just smile and nod. It’s in no way in position to host any event. Just keep paying your taxes Bwm57 and enjoy.

I think Oswego will bring alot of fans. Probably more so than a small college stadium, along with 3 other teams from the area, can handle.

its a unique event. I think it will be well attended.

I don't see much more than parents attending, maybe some students if schools run some buses, but still a long slog to Dekalb in bad weather.

19 for a high on Tuesday and 2 for a low on Wednesday with a 10 mph breeze likely leads to a big crowd on NFHS! Also the Illini game has been a ball!

Yet another pathetic excuse, I suppose there are no returning students in Champaign, Whitewater, Minnesota, etc… it the contract isn’t done, cancel it for cause!
Did you see the crowd at the U of I/NW game, or lack there of? One entire side of the stadium was empty. Pretty safe to assume there were little to no students hanging around Champaign.

Yes I saw it, did you see the whole game like I did?

I did and because of the weather they limited seating to only the west side. A rivalry game that otherwise would have been a sell out was limited to a few thousand people who had to sit on one side of the stadium.

And it was a glorious win over Northwestern! A good time was had by all Illini!
