Slo-mo could be deceiving, but how the hell does 22 Eteva overrun that persuit angle?
Seemed like a basic play after Yant was first contacted.
If they are playing Manning in the slot and if Yant is in the backfield, that's a lot of beef.
Too bad he didn't punish people last year - at least more than just the fans. He has to learn to play behind his pads & use his size to his advantage instead of being hesitant into contact.
This video reminds me of that one of the mythical Kenny Wilson a few years back where he ran through the entire defense enroute to a scrimmage TD.

Still looks kinda like a slow reaction (no slo-mo pun intended) to adjust when he should have seen the (tackle) contact right in front of him.
Anyhoot- just nit-picking, but good LBs know how to find their target quickly.
It's a new year with a new position coach, and more competition. Some will rise and others will be left behind.
So you do think we are getting better?Being confident about 5 wins is giving them a lot of credit for being able to improve. Because they have struggled to win 5 games so far.
Either there was something really wrong with QB and line coaching and the HC/OC dynamic, it will get fixed, and we will have a surprisingly good year, or else Frost just can't run a P5 program and if so, 5 wins sounds about right.
Switching gears to another topic, how exactly does a poster get a thousand more likes than posts???
Whipple is a big step up as a QB coach and OC. Frost hasn’t been shy about commenting on the line being more aggressive. Whether things work or not, whatever frosting the rest of the office of staff were doing was not working. The best thing that Frost can do is let Whipple take the offensive reins and focus on the overall. The dude has decades of experience. If anyone can get the offense over the hump, it’s him.
You forgot not returning kick-offs out of the end zone and then pitching it backwards
An actual kickoff or punt return for at least a few positive yards would be nice, too...
Because of the easier schedule this year, I would say that five wins this year would be the equivalent of three wins last year.
In these videos I saw balls thrown into coverage due to lack of separation, dropped balls and what appeared to be two interceptions....not good.
The way our media crew is able to glamorize players from a 3-9 program do things like walk through the hallway and fail to make a clean catch makes me think they could make Whoopie Goldberg look like a supermodel.
Great point. I bet if they worked for you, just think how much better your posts could be as well.
My bad. I should check my prove it on the field attitude and let the fanatics enjoy the videos of people walking in hallways and such and such.
