PR fumbles the ball, Montini scoops and scores. 28-27 Montini with 9:05 left.
One of the greatest games I have seen at Montini. PR is a great team and probably the best team Montini played all year. Montini could not use 60% of it's offensive playbook as Andriano kept it very conservative on offense until late in the game. Great game by both teams and PR played a great game. There should be 3 teams in 6A going to the finals.
Thanks for the great show PR and Montini!
MVP of the game - THE SNOW SHOVELER"S!
Wassup
That 22 is gonna give teams fits for the next two years great game by prairie ridge. Both teams offenses were limited as neither team could really turn the corner in 3" of snow slush and ice for the entire first half.Couldn't agree more. Great game, everything left on the field by both teams.
Great great game that bronco defense had some huge stops but I still couldn't believe that this game was played in those conditions
Montini tried to have it played last night and never got a responseThey really had no choice but to play it with the finals being played next week. There's too much scheduling and preparing done in DeKalb that the date really cannot be moved. I was surprised these semi-final games were not moved to Friday night after knowing the forecast.
Lmao! That would also have been fun on Friday night seeing both teams playing each other with a 100% open playbook.
But I rather play the game in snow then watching these boring Iowa state playoff games being played indoors. Don't want to see any football played at the Rosemont Horizon.
If this game was played in dry weather it would of got ugly for PR IMO.
Maybe and maybe not, Dino. I was thinking just the opposite actually.
Snow neutralized ANY passing by MCHS in 1st half, which made them very one dimensional. Maybe bend don't break, but Montini puts up many more points on a dry, clear track.
Taking nothing away from PR. Tough, tough kids there, and young. Good things coming for them.
Lol!You're probably right. Would have been better if we didn't have a blizzard to change the play that got teams there; although it is fun to watch those types of games. Just had to give it back to Dino!

I almost passed out in the middle of the field from shoveling lol!WOW PR is good and were a pleasure to host. A gentleman from PR saw an unoccupied shovel and asked if he could help. THANK YOU good sir! You are an embassador to the game and sportsmanship.
Yea, fourth quarter, show stopped and wind died down a bit, field was a bit better. Passing lanes open then running lanes.Snow neutralized ANY passing by MCHS in 1st half, which made them very one dimensional. Maybe bend don't break, but Montini puts up many more points on a dry, clear track.
