Well you know I have been on here for years and I don't post much but my family needs all the prayers we can get right now. My wife was pregnant with our twin girls and she has been on strict bed rest at the hospital for over a month. I was at work last Monday and she calls me and tells me to get to the hospital immediately. I get there and she is going into labor. She was only 22 weeks pregnant at the time. We were told that neither baby would make it so you can imagine the pain we were going through. She delivered both babies and to our great surprise, both of them made it. They were rushed to the NICU unit to get them hooked up to all the medicine to keep them alive. We finally got to go down to see them and it was heartbreaking to see all the needles and tubes in them just to keep them alive but they were alive! On July 30, Lexi couldn't fight anymore and she took her last breath in our arms. You have no idea the pain we felt when there is nothing you can do to save your child. Our other little girl Dani is still fighting and we have been receiving positive news about her. Please say a little prayer for us to keep Dani fighting so she can come home to us. She is the only thing that is keeping my wife and myself sane at the moment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Nickris, I'm so very sorry to hear of this heartbreaking news. You, your wife, Dani, and all the other family and friends are in my thoughs and prayers. I will add you to my prayer list, and may God be with you, and guide the doctors and nurses to save your precious young Dani.
That's unimaginable and I can't fathom how tough this has been on you and your family. Prayers for you and all involved. God bless.

My friend I have no idea of what you and your wife are going through and what you both are feeling. I don't have any idea of what I would be like if I lost my son or grandchildren. I can tell you this though. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I empathize with you the best I can. May Heavenly Father comfort you and your wife. May Dani have the strength to win the battle and I assure you that Lexi is well and you and your wife will see her again. OFC

They say everything happens for a reason. But when tragedy strikes you or someone close to you, it's hard to imagine what the reason could possibly be. As humans we are dealt a hand that we must play to the best of our abilities and take everything in stride. I trust that you and your family will stay strong through the struggles life has thrown at you and I will be praying for the life of your little one and for the happiness of you and your wife.
Just an update, we just left the hospital from seeing Dani and we are getting very positive reports. They have been able to bring her oxygen down a little and she is able to take 2 ML of milk every 6 hours. Thats huge!!! Thank you all for the prayers. Skysdad when I read ti my wife what you wrote, it made us tear up pretty good but in a good way. Thank you all for taken a moment to say a prayer for us.
Don't even know you but I love you my friend. A friend of mine daughter and her husband lost a set of twins a while back. The twins lived long enough for the parents to hold them and create a bond. They are a strong spiritual family and they know that someday they will be reunited with their children. They now have their third healthy child. Please keep us updated about Lexi.. OFC

Nickris, sorry I am just seeing this. I am so sorry for what you and your family are having to endure. Keep the faith and try to remember that God has a plan for all of us, and sometimes it is hard to figure out and understand.

Keep the prayers coming because it must be working. We are at the hospital and she ia doing excellent at the moment. It's like a roller coaster ride. She has good days and bad days. Thanks for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. I ready to bring her home and put her in the DUKE gear I bought for them already. It was the first thing I bought for my girls.

Thank you so much DukeHokie. Your right, I would never ask. A childhood friend of my wife started this. We didn't even know until she sent us the the link abd there was already $2000 in it. We could not believe it! We are so appreciative of the love and support we are getting from our family, friends and people that we don't even know. Its amazing how people can be so generous to my family in this time of need. Thank you all for the kind word and prayers. I can't say that enough!!! Just an update on her condition, she has had 3 good days in a row with no setbacks which is huge. She has been putting on weight and she is up to 1pd 6oz now. They have switched her to a big girl ventilator which means she is breathing on her own even more. I will keep yall updated to let you know how she is coming along. Thanks again.

Just a small update on Dani, she has been doing well for the most part. We have had a couple of bad days in between but she is a little fighter. She is still in stable condition and has put on a little weight. She ia almost 2 pds now. Please keep the prayers coming because it will be months befeore we are out of the woods.
