I’m asking if you guys could say a prayer for my son. He broke his arm a little over 4 weeks ago. He had the typical splint followed by his cast. It was supposed to come off today so he could start recover and get back on the court playing basketball. They cut off his cast, took new X-Rays, and back to the room to see the doc. We didn’t get bad news but we didn’t get good neew either. The bone apparently shifted again. His bone had started to heal crooked. If this new cast doesn’t fix it then he will undergo surgery to rebreak his arm and put in plates or rod. He being 13 is just devastated and super bummed that he may miss the rest of the year. On a positive note his cast is black so it will be for Unx’s Funeral on Friday. Thanks guys!!!

I’m sorry to hear that. My son is 15 and has dealt with arm problems since 3rd grade in a school bus wreck. Definitely will keep him in our prayers best of luck

Very sorry to hear this! Prayers sent. I’m hoping he’ll have a full recovery given his age. I’m no doctor but I’ve heard kids bones heal a lot better than us older folks bc their bones are more pliable. I hope that’s the case for him.

That sucks! Prayers for the best news possible, but even more so for your response to it. May your son be patient, perseverant, and strong. May you be supportive and positive.

My son broke his dominant arm when he was 7. Doctors put pins in the arm . Healed just fine. Guess your doctor did not see the need for pins. Good luck with everything.
Make sure your son follows the advice of his PT.

Prayers sent! Not sure the hand but I had a buddy that his kid broke his right hand and it took forever to heal, but the bright spot is that he loved basketball so much that all he did was play with his left hand during the time off and after it had healed he was crazy good because he turned a weakness into a strength. Always look towards the positive outcomes!

Best of luck!

Sorry to hear about that, I’ll put him in my prayers along with a speedy recovery.

Way to go with the black cast. Fitting attire for UNC’s funeral!!!
