I agree about Romero. It makes me sick that Fix is able to wrestle with practically zero consequences for cheating.

That's a crazy seed Poz. Obviously happy for him but have no idea how he ended up above Venz

At least if Turley can get past Ohio state’s Romero then he has a punchers chance to make the semis

Venz doesnt have a lot of quality wins this year. Poz has a better resume and is 2-1 compared to Venz 1-2 in common opponents. Venz is probably the better wrestler but Poz has done a little bit more this year.

Makes sense.

I definitely got caught up on optics of him finishing 2nd at the B1G tournament but once I went through and looked at his matches, I can understand why Poz got a better seed.

149 - (10) Mike Van Brill, Rutgers
At B1G's MVB was en fuego. He avenged two of his three early season losses (Storr, Parriott) and took 3rd. But that performance only got him the 10 seed, much harsher for a Big Ten 3rd place finisher. The good news is that his path is niiiice. He gets a 6-6 Triston Lara followed by 7 seed John Millner. It comes to a screeching halt then with AOC in the quarters, but that's good enough to automatically drop him to the Blood Round - something that would have been crazy talk two weeks ago. Who would he get in the Blood Round? Probably Murin, who he also beat at B1G's.

Venz decided he didn’t want to work early in the year. He actually got demoted for 3 duals from the first team. The kid behind him is very good.

Instead of pouting Venz went to work behind the scenes and when he got his chance he was back to the way he used to wrestle. He was out of shape and lacked the right attitude to compete in the Big 10.

Something clicked back on late in the year and he looks much better. He brought his aggressive in your face style back vs just trying to not loose too bad.

NEVER look further ahead than the next match. Millner was that cool guy with the '32 Deuce Coupe? Oh, no, that was spelled, Milner :)

Do we have a schedule? I know session 1 starts at 10AM and session 2 at 5 but what rounds are we getting at each?
