I voted 4-8. I'm not super confident that we'll beat Illinois, but it's also possible we could upset one of the other teams.
We can win 3 out of the last 4 games. Iowa's offense has been pretty much as bad as ours the past 2 games, but with Marty we might be able to score more than them.
Purdue is also beatable though clearly they'd be favored against us.
Illinois we're better than and should win that game.
4-8 seems most likely though I think if Marty can really get the offense firing, maybe 5-7 or 6-6 is possible.

Yeah but if their defense isn't scoring, they're beatable. Pretty much depends on takeaways.
I think this team finds a way to lose one of the games we won. I hate to say it but I left at halftime and couldn’t muster the enthusiasm to venture back in for the 2nd half. Personally feels reminiscent of 2019 when I found myself not wanting to go back in. Thankfully I only have to waste one more Saturday this season.
You weren't alone I am sure. The shots of the stadium were depressing. That was a MAC type crowd after halftime. Fitz needs to get a handle on the root causes of this whack phenomenon that has been going on the past 4 seasons. Going from division champ to chump back to back isn't a good look for the program.
I went to a Cleveland State Basketball exhibition game yesterday, and only saw the second half of NU vs. Minnesota. I want to say it was a conflicted decision, because of how much I love NU, but it really wasn’t with the way this team has been playing.
Yeah, I am going to cut back with responses the rest of the way. A lot of us are just regurgitating the same points now. This is almost becoming the Warpath, the big Redskins fan site, where it became one big ***** session a lot of the time, and not much else.
I think we finish 5-7, one game short of bowling, and the loss to Duke who keeps getting blown out by 40 points bites us in the ***.
Yeah, I agree. Iowa is going to be pissed and might take it out on us. Whisky and Purdue are solid teams. Illinois doesn't have much in the way of offense. The defense is solid though, so that game will be a toss up. Hopefully, we can get some real improvement going by the last game.I predict a win over Illinois, and not much more.
On the positive side, more than half of our poll responders think we’ll win at least one more game.

I voted 3 sins since Fitz doesnt know who his qb is. Fitz needs to break his deal with hilniski because everyone else already knows Marty could win 2 games.
I went 6-6, but it's just because I think Iowa/Purdue/Illinois are 3 teams more beatable than any of Nebraska/Michigan/Minnesota.
Iowa's offense is disastrous, Purdue's offense can be slowed down, and Illinois is bad.
Question is, do we start Marty and give him a chance to try to win these games.
