from the foul line. Really? That's your game plan? Drawing fouls? It's been boy wonder's method all year. Draw fouls, make foul shots... leading the nation in foul shots.. blah blah blah. Suddenly boy wonder runs into a brick wall named Adrian and Mr. Foul is calling foul. Whatever. Go cry in your crab cakes Terps. You brought boys to a mans game. What did you expect to happen?

If you look at the replay, the Adrian pick was made worse by a terp player grabbing his arm on the way to the pick.

Trimble is a great player and had a great game. Kid's Tough.

Saying that doesn't take away from the effort and achievement of our guys.

... and Nathan only turned his head a split second before the collision. You won't see that in the multitude of gifs created by crying Terps. They all conveniently only show the split second of collision, as if Adrian was looking at him the entire screen set. Also I don't get the claim that he was hit in the head on that play. Laying on the floor was dramatic overkill by Mr. Foul. Something he's done his whole career. It came back to bite him in the *** this time.

I don't know much about Mr. Foul, other than he likes drawing fouls, but I'm not buying he's "tough". Looked pretty soft to me.

Re: I suspect

I have no idea why everyone is calling him soft. He took a nasty spill, ran into a rock, and then got kicked in the head. If he wanted to transfer to WVU tomorrow, I am sure everyone of these people calling him soft would we typing WEEEEE

Re: I suspect we all agree on that point

You're right. I'm so sorry for making light of Trimble's horrific collision and mugging at the hands of those mean 'ol Mountaineers. I feel bad now.

The look in his eyes prior to being kicked in the head showed

he was beginning to become unnerved about the game.

I guess I shouldn't call him soft, as he is a Freshman, but he was definitely rattled prior to suffering the concussion.

Re: The look in his eyes prior to being kicked in the head showed

All this macho BS self talk that a lot of our fans are feeding to themselves borders on the delusional. We lined up with Maryland and we beat them. The didn't look soft to me. As a matter of fact that was a very intense ballgame until we started to wear them out in the 2nd half. If they had another player or two who could handle the ball they might have beaten us.

There is no need to attempt to exaggerate the quality of our win by denigrating our opponent. As a matter of fact .... the more you run down our opponent the more you degrade our win.

Get it? The more you run down our opponent the more you degrade our win.

I told the wife after he collided with Nate that they should give him a concusion test. They didn't. I don't think he was 100% after that to be honest.

When I saw his mother come on the floor, I was for certain Adrian was about to get an ear pulling and a good lecture for hurting her little baby.

Dude get off your high horse. Trimble's game plan was to draw fouls and make foul shots. If you deny that you're lying. I wasn't the first one to make that accusation. Terps were counting on it. Only an idiot would claim it's delusional and "self talk" (whatever the hell that is) to call them out for it. Get real.

Trimble was very good, as good as any guard WVU saw all year. Supporting cast, okay, but not good enough to get it done. They needed at least one more good ball handler to have a real shot.

What's the old Mark Twain saying

about keeping one's mouth shut rather than opening it and proving something?

OP sounds like a complete loser. Bashing an 18 year old All American caliber player that got kicked in the head[/I] and had to come out of the game. Pathetic.

Re: Best player from MD was Dax Miles. **

Hard to argue with that. Dax also showed great restraint when Wells was taunting him. Question is how the hell was that NOT a technical foul? Brandon Watkins got a T for staring at a player a few games back.
