Just to add Eagles/Trojans, in the west there are nine conferences. The conference first place teams get seeds one through nine based on highest RPI. Then seeds 10 through 16 (remaining home teams 1st round) are filled with the non-number one teams with highest RPI getting the 10th seed, etc.

In the east there are 10 conferences then the same process.
