They'll be seeded as a wildcard. Only get a auto 3 seed if there are more than I think 8 teams in conference.
How is bishop out I honestly believe they aren’t using updates rankings they are just going with yesterday’s rankings because how can update one state without doing every other state in America because these teams should move nationally I’m telling you guys this is horse crap

1AA West is Murders Row. Whoever comes out of it will be well prepared for anything the East brings to the table. Not saying the West will win, but it's definitely possible.
Check out Carolinapreps, Murphy coaches saying the NCHSAA did not use draw results because all 3 were not in the same bracket. Swain seeded as a #1 conference seed due to head to head, Murphy seeded as #2 conference seed. Cherokee seeded as #1 conference seed in small 1A.
I don't think it matters of they are in different brackets. Cherokee should be seeded with 1s in 1A, Swain with 2's in AA, and Murphy with wildcards in the AA. That's my interpretation of things.
Also, Maxpreps doesn't update their rankings until Sunday's correct? So what formula are they using right now?
I was told that the way it will work is that Cherokee will get a 1 as the only 1A school and then Swain will get a 1 and Murphy a 2 for Swain winning head-to-head against Murphy.

I can see East Surry" leap frog" a team or two especially if SOS is involved.
Great second round matchups across the board, Possible North Stanley -- Murphy matchup is intriguing. How about a possible cards vs cards matchup for a second time. Bessemer City vs Swain County. Whats everybody's thoughts on some of these matchups.
As far as leap frog not speaking of anyone in particular i know they had a tough schedule with Ragsdale 4a, N.Surry 10-1(conf champ WPC), EW 9-2, West Stokes, Mt. Airy 11-0...not sure how Max preps will seed teams..but if strength of schedule matters any, i see East Surrys 7-4 record looked at with a grain of salt.
