Do to an error in judgment by student-athletes during the Mountain Island Charter vs Carver game the state has decided to omit them participating in the playoffs

Well Carver was #18 but I knew with #34 Rosman was in then someone else besides MICS was out so that explains that.
Apparently MIC and Carver were kicked out of the playoffs for some kinda bad behavior
Huge fight happend. Benches were cleared leading to a DQ in state playoffs.
2nd round possibilities Robbinsville rematch with Cherokee , Murphy @ Mtn Heritage, Swain @ Mitchell

I’m guessing not many posters from either school. Either that or embarrassed to say anyrhing.
So now knowing that, what changes could anyone see in the preliminary bracket? It totally throws off all the projected brackets from before. So all you projectors how do they look?

Looks like it spreads the SMC teams out more and not all on the bottom half. Big rematch with Robbinsville and Cherokee 2nd round
MA went from an SMC gauntlet to plying their own conference teams. Looks good for them. Now the SMC will be battling each other early on. This is going to get crazy!
Looks right I the west. I'm too lazy to crunch numbers for the east. One things for sure, Robbinsville and Mount Airy have cake walks to the 4th round. ER will have to face Murphy or Mountain Heritage, and Mitchell will have to go toe to toe with Thomasville. MA's biggest hump will be Andrews, if they even meet.
Teams had the right to appeal etc.. Probably just wanted to let things play out first
Yes MA and Mitchell have to like this bracket better. It does look more balanced
All the 3 round games potentially should be good. On paper maybe Robbinsville will have a easier time but their 2 nd round game against a team that beat them.
All you people talking **** about the NCHSAA ABOUT “forgetting” MIC…then come to find out they were disqualified,calm the hell down geez!!
