I didn’t say we should be mad at TMZ, obviously you’re one of the people they counted on being offended by an idiot in Oklahoma.
How much consequence should he pay? Who gets to decide that? Anonymous Twitter posters?
Never said I was offended. He should probably be fired, if he hasn't been already. That's pretty much it. Just think it's odd you'd rather talk about TMZ as if they're to blame and then decide it's cool to call everyone in the thread pathetic for some reason. I really didn't see anyone here hopping mad. Hell, I joked and posted about a Chili Peppers album. Maybe you need the Snickers, my man lol.

Actions/words have consequences. His employers will decide what those consequences are. If he is in business for himself, his customers will decide that. It's probably been 10 years ago now, but there was a contractor employee who thought it would be funny to show up at a black guy's work station wearing a white hood with KKK written on it with a Sharpie. Our guy laughed it off, but others didn't find it funny and told the shift supervisor. The shift supervisor went through the roof, and went to the contractor employee's supervisor. That dude was fired the next day. No social media or TMZ involved. Actions/words have consequences, whether there are thousands of people who find out, or a small handful of people find out.

As he should’ve been.

If we are gonna be equal. Be equal. Two weeks ago Joe Biden said the N word on TV. No outcry. Not one second of coverage

Depends on the party of the racist. Ralph Northam governor of Virginia was in black face with a buddy in KKK robe. Kept his job.

Joy Behar. Black face. Jimmy Kimmel black face. Sarah Silverman black face. Justin Trudeau multiple black faces. Prince Harry wearing a Nazi uniform at a party. Joy Reid laid out one of the most homophobic rants on social media ever and blamed it being "hacked". Etc etc etc No cancel culture with them.

This dude needs to be punished, but so do a lot of the hypocrites that are cancelling him.

So this is a pretty bulletproof response. The fact that these people weren’t cancelled demonstrates that outrage is selective at best.

I didn’t call everyone in this thread pathetic, I said the reaction was pathetic, and it is.

You said "they know people like everyone of you live for things to be offended by, it’s pathetic." So who are you upset with in this thread exactly? When you go into a thread and say "everyone of you", you're calling out everyone in the thread. So who is your beef with? The thread seemed fairly calm and then you rode in on a rather high horse to say everyone of us live to be offended and it's pathetic.

You just came off like an ***, that's all. It's always so weird when someone decides to point the finger at everyone BUT the idiot who said the racist thing.

So you agree, I didn’t call everyone in the thread pathetic.
People say all kinds of disgusting things, the handwringing over a word, that no one heard, certainly not the people it was directed at, until TMZ decided they could clicks is absurd.
The guy is an idiot, the world is full of idiots, adults realize this, and his words have no bearing on anyone’s life.

This is an opinion board, that “ high horse” is called a different opinion. You don’t have to agree, I don’t care, try it sometime you’ll be much happier.

Sorry, but that's a no on Biden. It's why there was zero outcry or coverage. The others? I agree there should have been consequences. Will there be consequences for this guy? I dunno. His employer may fire him. If he's self employed, his (lack of) customers may put him out of business. If I were still working, and I said what this dude did while on the job, I'd be fired, although having worked there for 31 years, they might have given me the option to retire. It's been probably 25 years ago now, but a supervisor there got 4 new employees on his shift. Three of the four were black. In his "welcome to the crew" speech, he told them that he was just an old country boy who speaks his mind, and if they heard him say n*****, to not pay any attention to it because he didn't mean anything personally by it. He was suspended for a week, then told he could retire or be demoted. With over 40 years of service, he chose to retire. For the record, he was an ******* that no one was sorry to see leave.

I think I have to point out that he said this about children. That gets lost in a lot of sports discussion. There are kids as young as 14 playing hs sports. I would think his biggest health problem would be pissed off parents and not his blood sugar.

Anyone else find it ironic that the ******* who is whining about them disrespecting the flag is also running his trap while the anthem is being played? BTW, I saw where these girls won the state title yesterday.
