Hello Everyone,

Last year I organized the Zoom Game Watch events, so in preparation for the upcoming season, I am holding a preseason Zoom meeting to discuss the team's prospects for 2022. Think of it as a kind of virtual tailgate. The join meeting link is below.

It starts at noon on Saturday and will go about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on attendance. Feel free to show up and participate, even if only for a few minutes to say hi. I am always happy to meet fellow Wildcat Fans.

We may have lots of people, or it may just be me talking to myself. Hopefully, someone with actual competence will show up so we can learn something.

I look forward to seeing you,

Astro

Thanks to Astro for an enjoyable and informative 90 minutes. I was particularly interested in the explanation on how the difficulty of getting into an NU graduate program leads some players with one more year of eligibility to opt for the transfer portal instead.

Really? I’m not aware of losing any potential 5th year players whom we wanted to return. Curious as to who shared this information? Was it a reliable source like @gocatsgo2003 or someone else?

Not sure if the difficulty of getting into NU grad school impacts 5th year NU football players, but I‘m quite sure it impacts what kind of players that can transfer in
