A bit of a different (albeit no less expansive) preview for men's wrestling this week, as the Hawkeyes head to the Big Ten Championships:
Iowa heads to funky looking Big Ten's with plenty to prove - On3
Simply put, the pre-seeding debacle not only has things all out of whack - but could lead to numerous changes in each bracket depending on Friday's coaches' meeting in State College. So, previewing individual weights (much less matchups) would've felt like a completely blind exercise.
Instead, I shed light on the seeding fiasco as best/concisely as I could, covered the allocation situation for all 10 Hawkeyes, and gave you all the usual info on when/where/how to tune in - among other things.
(Hopefully next year we can return to a bit of normalcy.)
As I also wrote in my preview, with me being in Coralville for the NCAA Women's Championships this Friday/Saturday - Day 1 (Saturday) at Big Tens won't get my typical coverage on either social media or here on the site. Instead, the 'Godfather' Tom Kakert is planning to write up a brief summary of Iowa's Day 1 results, and I'll be back on Day 2 (Sunday) to take over from there.
