Probably a Dumb Comparison - Real Madrid and Pope

So after a blistering start under their new manager, Real Madrid has only won something like two out of their last five matches (only one of those has been a loss). Regardless, the president wants to meet with the manager and the rumors are he will get the shape up or ship out speech. This is crazy to me, as Real Madrid is second in the league. However, it made me think of one thing: blue bloods have expectations. Notice how I didn’t use the word “unrealistic.” The coaches know what they are getting into. Cal knew, perhaps too late, he had to get out. My question is how bad do things have to get? Is Pope legitimately untouchable this year? What if we drop a game to a mid major and get waxed against IU?

Please know I am supporting this team regardless. I am not boycotting. It is just food for thought. More about what is in the mind of Mitch, not Pope. Hope y’all are staying safe this Christmas with your loved ones.

How long does the Real Madrid manager’s contract run and what is his buyout? And did Real Madrid just last week obligate itself to pay a $38 million buyout to another manager in its other sport? Is their GM anything like Mitch Barnhart?

Some coaches are easier to get rid of than others.

I’m sure they have massive buy outs for players and the cost to bring some in plus whoever they fired.
