I agree with you there. After the loss to scUM (which was 100% on Becht - he was scUM's best offensive weapon), I thought we were toast even as bad as Purdue was. Campbell still had them playing hard - I will give him that. Don't think it will make a bit of difference against a better schedule next year because Campbell has shown serious talent evaluation and roster budget management shortcomings, but I will give him credit that he still has this bad team playing hard.

BGJ did really good things at PSU and will do good things at VT but hasn’t won or beat the teams he needed to at PSU to keep his job. He won a lot of games, just not against the big boys of the conference.

The defensive line play was noticeably better on Saturday. Armstrong Nnodim who has been out for most of the season played quite a bit on Saturday and definitely made his presence felt. If he stays healthy, I could see him being one of the 10 best players for the remainder of the season.
