Good player. We can certainly use those. May be incorrect, but I imagine next year’s class based upon the scholarship chart is something like 2-3.
Correct me if I am incorrect.

Can you think of a single coach’s son who wasn’t a great shooter?
To be honest, I can’t think of many coach’s sons, offhand, that played basketball. But let me say this; the fact that Shrew’s son, wants to play for his Dad, and his Dad wants to have him on the team, says a lot about the positive relationship the two have with one another. They’re not concerned about the problems with a kid playing for his Dad (nepotism); why? Because they both have great confidence in Braedon’s abilities as a player. Coach Shrew knows he belongs on the team, and in the BIG10; and the kid, Braedon, knows that he belongs, and can compete on a high level. I’m excited to see what the two Shrews can do together, this is all positive in my mind.

Off topic but on for hoops recruiting. There was a recent Pitt decommit that is really good and we thought we had a good shot to get him. Any update?

I know a couple d2 and d3 coaches whose sons couldn't shoot but both were very good pg with high IQ and leadership abilities.

This is a solid pick up though he will be behind the 22 recruits so perfect bench guy.

If he can shoot the ball he’ll play. If he comes off the bench and nails a couple of quick 3’s, great. If he starts, also great. Im not putting him in front of or behind anyone just yet.

Good stuff. Really hoping Coach Shrews can land some good big men though. This is where we're most behind (IMO) compared to our BIG competition.
