Please use the thread for all pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussion for the 2026 PSU - Michigan dual.

When:
February 6, 6:00 pm EST

Where:
Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI

TV:
the match will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network

Video Streaming:
Subscribers of the BTN can watch a stream of the TV coverage on their computer, or on their phone via the Fox Sports App

Audio Streaming:
The radio PBP, with Jeff Byers at the mic, will be streamed for free. The pre-match portion of the broadcast will begin at 5:40 pm EST, with the actual dual taking place at 6:00 pm EST. You can access the audio stream at:

PBP:
I'm around, and can do PBP. I believe @GregPickel and @SlipperyPete will also be in the saddle, and I'm happy to defer to @SlipperyPete if he's doing PBP. Thus, I think we'll have the PBP covered. That said, we always encourage others to participate, and post thoughts about things that happen in the dual. And as always, a reminder that if you are doing PBP, please post the score of the match, as well as the team score of the dual, at the end of each match.

I have Big10 network on my cable, but will be away from home. Put the FoxSports app on my phone but the schedule shows no wrestling. How do I find it on the FoxSports app? I am an old boomer and technology is not my strong point, LOL.

It will also appear on the Fox Sports app. If you click watch and look at the LIVE stuff whatever is on Big 10 TV will be there. If you look right now B1G today is on

Really? Despite years of posting the info in the Match Threads, I've never attempted to stream the BTN on my phone. That said, the info I provided is what is listed on the BTN network web site. Plus, I just looked up Fox One, and as best as I can tell that app is for Fox's streaming service that you have to pay for, whereas the Fox Sports App is free, but requires the paid TV subscription (like BTN).

Let me know how it works put for you.

when I am at my mountain home, I can use the fox app based on being a verizon 'cable' subscriber. With the app, I then have access to BTN.
It is funny how BTN+ is completely separate. One would think if you pay for BTN+ that it would also include BTN.

With no one answering my work emails, there’s time for a foolish post. Will watch on BTN and review thread between matches, but here’s some PBP of those unable to view:

B1G dual: #1 Penn State v #8 Michigan

Period 1: pre-dual
Snacks laid down. Beverage poured. Wife sent shopping.

Period 2: dual
Open match thread post, then 10 iterations of the following:
Wait patiently for @SlipperyPete to mitigate his latest rattlesnake bite and engage the match. Devour his period-by-period updates as if starving, filling wait time with comment interaction. Scream “Yes!” loudly after winning Lion score delivered.

Period 3: post-dual:
Having watched or not, stay on thread to gripe a tiny bit, but mostly praise another dual win. Quietly thank wrestling gods for Cael and Slippery. Check wife’s grocery bags for any ‘victory celebration’ snacks. :rolleyes:

We've got a little snow in the Shenandoah, and I cannot finish the memo I'm working on fast enough:

First Period:
-Walk dogs, take sauna

Second Period:
-Official review ongoing re: whether to finish off the Courage and Conviction, or make an Old Fashioned
-Make some dinner

Third Period:
-Continually hit 'refresh' on Pete's posts as we watch whatever Mrs. A wants to watch for a while

Post-Match:
-Head on over to HROT to watch ol' JTS work his magic.

There was no fee because it's part of my cable package as far as I can tell. Will let you know.
