I believe that's the 4th dual he's wrestled for PSU, which would be under the threshold. I believe he had 3 matches at Opens -- I don't recall if he wrestled unattached in them or not.

Just for the sake of clarity: They said on BTN that Desmond burned his shirt, which is absolutely not the case. Tonight was his fourth dual meel, but only his third dual meet competition date as the Nashville double dual day counted as one event day. Everyone was attached at the Black Knight Invitational, which means he has used four of his five dates. So if Desmond wrestles again twice more this season, his redshirt will be burned.

To clarify: Bassett (SW) and Harer (NE) are in different regionals. They cannot meet until Hershey.
And it would be in the state finals. They will tie for the 1 seed -- each gets 100 pts as a 2025 state champ + 100 points for being undefeated. And PIAA rules require separating them until the finals.
Nothing tags you as a hayseed more than saying “state” instead of “states” except for maybe saying Pop instead of Soda

Kelly, while absolutely beautiful and striking, is very very tiny. In fact, most of the actors on that show are just damn near midgets: The framing of the camera for daytime television lends itself to smaller actors.

Just for some background, Duke wrestled Catrabone in HS two years ago and only won 2-1. In HS, Catrabone was 227-14 with 146 pins. He was a two-time NY State champion and four-time placer, so, ya, he's a very solid RS Freshman.
In Penn State's thirteen duals so far this season they have 422 takedowns to their opponents' 35.
Catrabone is a dude, he will be on the podium this year.
Tom - if you get a chance, look at that last takedown in slow motion. They were very very close to off the mat. Not that it would have mattered much for the outcome, but I’m surprised Bormet didn’t throw the brick.
