PSU pulls out the win, 12-11, in 2OT.
PSU made too many turnovers in the game, and were up by 3 goals in the 4th qtr and let that lead slip away, but they pulled out the win.
PSU called for bs slash. 2 min to go
Sloppy game, but they avoided the let down loss after the big Hopkins win.Team didn’t play very well for a good part of the game. GK kept them in it until PSU outscored UM 5-0 in the 4th quarter.
Yeah, you’d like to see them possess the ball for awhile there. Risk vs reward.Unbelievable save on man down. Gilman clear wasn’t the best 1 min to go PSU up 2

Agree…Fracyon was phenomenal…anything is possible when he plays like that…must clean up the sloppy play and it will be “see you in Philly!”I'd agree with that. Michigan got a crazy number of 2nd and 3rd opportunities. And PSU's long sticks once again were slow to recognize when they were being challenged when PSU had the ball, and there were several turnovers by the long sticks. I'm not sure what the official stats were, but PSU had trouble winning face-offs for a lot of the match, which always makes it a challenge for the offense. Michigan did a really good job on PSU's top scorer, TJ Malone, and both he and PSU did a poor job of reacting to their D and getting him good looks at the net. By comparison, for 3/4 of the game, Michigan's O was pretty effective at moving the ball around, and freeing up a man for a shot. That PSU was still within striking distance after 3 quarters was mostly the result of exceptional play by PSU's goalie, Fracyon.
This game had me concerned. Michigan defeated Maryland a few weeks ago, for the first time ever in MLAX. Michigan's offense has been scoring a lot, while PSU has been winning narrowly, so while PSU was ranked higher than Michigan, I felt that Michigan had a legitimate shot to win the match, and for 3 quarters that looked to be how things were going to play out.
