Taylor stalled all match and played for ride outs. BS LAME Iowa style strategy. The Ref allowed it to happen. Ludicrous.
So.... stalling is the strategy for PSU opponents...

Duke has got to go and get that. Taylor had a stall warning for such a long time. Oh well, one of those true freshman losses that serve the greater purpose.

Taylor is just like Lewan he sucks out loud. Kasak figured him out maybe he can coach duke
People saying Taylor didn’t do anything which is true but PJ didn’t either. He took 1 real attack in 9 minutes
I'd rather have Duke learn from this in January vs March.
Antrell showing the crowd that you gotta use your head to beat a guy that is the better wrestler. He looked busy while doing absolutely nothing that entire match.

Sure looked like Duke should have had 2 back points in the UTB.
It looked like Hardy dropped a knee onto Davis on purpose. Nebraska is as undisciplined as their coach.
He missed a couple of bull rush opportunities when Taylor was doing his regrouping thing.

Still won. So you either wrestle the way you are capable of or you wrestle down to Taylor's level. PJ has shown he can beat world beaters, so he'll have to do it differently next time.
Yep, Duke didn’t do anything to force the ref to make the 2nd stall call.
He also missed a caution on a quick start from bottom earlier in the match in Taylor. Nebraska must have been watching Rutgers film with all the fingers in the face action. Taylor and Van Dee did it the whole match. Stop warming them and call it already. Van Dee got called for it. Taylor got away with it.
Meh. Duke had more to do with that loss than the ref. Taylor is tough to score on, but Duke needed to get on his offense more.
But smart match by Taylor - he controlled pace without wrestling at the edge or backing away.

Yea but he usually puts guys on the edge and is pushing them out. If he did that he would've won in regulation. Maybe Taylor is just stronger and better than someone Duke can push around the edge. Either way, Taylor stalled but duke didn't do himself enough favors. Wasn't as assertive as he needed to be. It will good for him.

Davis is the one that needed to apologize. You pin a guy, you get the right to showboat a bit. Do I like showboating, no. But kicking an opponent is chickensh!# move.
