Period 1:
Another big match up here. Can Cole take down a top 5 wrestler? Let it rip Cole! Here we go! Circling & hand fighting. Cole catches Feldman in the eyes & we're stopped. Good eye rake by Cole. Back to action. Snaps, hand fighting & brief collar ties. Cole presses forward. Feldman works back to center. Cole reaches for a leg, but can't get there. He shoots again & gets to a leg, but Feldman fights him off. Hand fighting forehead to forehead & they break. Tying up & snaps. Both wrestlers have been active. Feldman with some snaps. He's not that much bigger than Cole. I wonder what they weighed in at? More collar ties & hand fighting, 1-min left. Feldman tries an underhook, but Cole fights out of it. Back to collar ties & hand fighting. Feldman shoots, Cole counters, but neither can finish. Head tapping by both now, then they tie up again. More of the same to end the period. 0-0

Period 2:
Feldman takes down. He sits out, gets to his feet, turns & gets the escape, 1-0. Tying up & snaps. Stall warning on Feldman. Cole drops to a leg & elevates it. Feldman does the splits on the edge & they go out of bounds, no scoring, neutral restart. Tying up & hand fighting. The Big 10 announcer said there is only 7-8 pounds difference between the wrestlers. Feldman shoots, Cole counters & gets rear standing, then Feldman fights free. That was close to a TD for Cole. PSU throws the brick.

Challenge lost, no TD, score stays, 1-0. Back to action, neutral start. Tying up & hand fighting, 30-sec left. Cole shoots, but Feldman blocks him off. Tying up & hand fighting to end the period. 1-0 Feldman

Period 3:
Cole takes down. He works to his feet & gets the escape, 1-1. Circling, tying up & hand fighting. Cole with some snaps & they tie up again. Feldman shoots, but Cole fights him off. Cole looks to counter, but can't find an opening. Tying up & hand fighting again, 30-sec left. Cole shoots, but Feldman fights out of it. Feldman shoots from way out & no luck. Tying up to end the period.

SV:
Tying up & hand fighting. Feldman shoots, Cole counters & hits a double, then finishes the TD, 4-1! Wow, what a match!!!

Another dominant dual victory by PSU & another Big 10 championship! How sweet it is!!!

Nearly every sport has had their share of dynasties. Wrestling especially has. Popularity of the sport has never been higher. Look at the demand and cost for Nationals tickets.

How can he be so close and not finish. It’s mind bottling. COME ON COLE YOU CAN DO IT.

I think the quality of the refs has gone down this year. Replay has not helped much either.
