He was ridden for over 3 minutes tonight. He wrestled like he was a 184 filling in at 285 and told "just don't get pinned" and still damn near did.

From being called potentially the best pure athlete to ever come out of Iowa to someone who may never play football, and a low AA in wrestling. He is just plain looking like a bust given the hype. I don't think this one is TnT's fault.

Keuter really needed to pick a sport. With so many athletes training year round, the high level 2 sport college athlete has gone away.
He has had several injuries as well, which slowed development.
There was a time when Iowa wrestlers competed in big-time matches against Penn State. It is good to see Iowa can still use their go to rationalization to explain why their guy scored fewer points than the Penn State guy.
Kueter is 5-5, 3-4 B10 with Filipovich and Doucet remaining. He'll likely be 6-6, 4-4 heading into the postseason.

Blaze/Davino is a lot like Dake/Taylor. Usually that's going to lean ever so slightly toward Blaze/Dake ..but it's razor thin and the learning curve here for the first match is for Marcus to be more active in the first 5 minutes to either get that takedown or stay clear of getting dinged, which could have happened there in the first one.
With that said there is no way Byrd deserves the 1 seed in two weeks and the only person who thinks so is our new resident hater Corby, who I am now calling MSU157
