Agree. Nice win by bear claw. However against better wrestlers at 157 not sure he’s our answer. Haines already beat him in tournament. Haines has always been really good in big matches. Wouldn’t be surprised if Haines takes over next month. Also hoping to get the transfer from Ohio State in the lineup at 125 this coming semester. It’s definitely going to be interesting. Need as many points as possible at the Big ten tournament and Nationals.

I know but we need those points. TB is going to have a tough time even qualifying for Nationals out of the Big ten. Hopefully Haines will get some matches at the National dual’s coming up on the 19th.

He should qualify as at large barring unforeseen losses. Won it going away last year with 6 scoring wrestlers. May have 5 finalists this year.

I have no worries about RBY, C-Star, Brooks, Dean, and Kerk.

Beau, SVN, and Facundo need a couple of quality wins, need to do well at B1Gs to get a decent seed at nationals.

Steen and Bear Claw qualifying would be gravy. What I am saying is that I focus on how Beau, SVN, and Facundo are doing.

The state of Oregon has produced some outstanding wrestlers over the years including the only guy ever to be Dan Gable. Larry Owings is from Canby, Oregon. He wrestled at the U of Washington of course.
