Less than inspiring opening series and now good field position for the Utes. Hopefully the defense fares better

Clifford with a bad pull in first down. Held the ball too long on 3rd. Had the middle WR open of the trips right.
Good series by the defense. Didn't get gashed. Open field tackle. Forced a deep pass that was covered.
Tinsley should have FC.
I'd go back to the run like second down. Good push on the right side. Might try a WR screen to get outside the 10 though.

Yes it’s all about our O play calling obviously…need screens..run run run..TE seam over the top….patience..flip field first is what I want…I am so far comfortable with our D…they will adjust though, I think they will outsmart us in the upcoming series aren’t there yet..
CJF must think this is a game he can win on field position, because we usually go for that 4th down.
Franklin makes the right decision to punt. I'm a little surprised.
Steady dose next drive coming I believe. I'd have liked to have seen him come in on 3rd down there to threaten the run.
With the Bush Push legal, I'd have put Strange up SCs àss and went for it.
But Kalen King? He gonna be a good one.

we'll see. Utah's strength on D is against the run. And we're missing some starters on the OL. If I were game planning, I'd attack Utah's D with the pass. That may be the plan, but we haven't had great field position so far.
Great point…No WRs…need to use All 3 TEs….got to find the mismatch and Gronk the weak link!
