I know it’s early but figured I’d ask anyway. Anyone planning to go to Seattle for our game? My son and I have air, hotel and rental car booked. Still looking at tickets if anyone has opinions (something this group is rarely without). We are flying out of Charlotte Wednesday evening and home Sunday too damn early. I’d take any suggestions of must see things - it’s not every day we get that far to the north west. Lemme have it!

I just bought tickets yesterday and did so from the UW athletic website, so will be sitting in enemy territory. I live near Portland so I will drive up Friday and come home Sunday.

Son1 will be working in Seattle the entire month and he’s working on Dad to come out for 72 hours. The problem with this strong plan is I’m already flying out over thanksgiving and we’re roadtripping back in his Sportwagen (which I bought)

Heading out Wed. I have family in Seattle, Portland and Corvallis. Have some friends flying in Thursday for the game.

In past trips

Pike's Peak Market (they throw fish)
Eat a pluot (kind of like a plum).
I believe the US's only Rainforest is just north of Seattle
Space Needle
Mt Rainier National Park
Boeing Factory Tour

After this trip, I only have Autzen as an away trip for Big Ten stadiums.

I'm making the trip. Getting there Friday afternoon after spending Thursday in SLC watching my Towson hoops team take on Utah (nice scheduling). The Seahawks are in town on Sunday against the Cards so I may try that one too if the ticket price isn't too steep. Staying downtown and making it a total Uber trip. Have to see what I can do to be a stowaway just so I can say I did some sailgating.

If you're looking at tickets, the PSU sideline is on the near side and you'll be in the shade (which doesn't make sense). The lake will be to the right as you look at the field.

They certainly haven't performed very well in their first two games. I don't know how good WSU's defense is, but they mostly did a very good job of containing Washington's offense, and they had almost no help from their offense. Then, this past week, Washington only scored 16 points against Utah State.
