Would be great if the Shrewsberry era go started with a win!!

J. White, the transfer from Canisius, looks big enough, but seems to be getting beat off the dribble consistently......

Certainly some nice pieces here, but there's going to be a lot of growing pains as Shrewsbury grows into the job with this roster. Thank goodness they got Harrar to return.

Stealing several minutes there with Lundy at the 5.

Looking forward to the Harrah-Buttrick matchup down low on Monday night.

I know Youngstown State is a poor benchmark but there appears to be a lot less hero ball and isolation than last year already

It's been way too easy for Youngstown State to get to the rim.

I don't know much about Greg Lee but PSU desperately needs another big body in order to be competitive in the Big 10.

Final: 75-59, PSU

A nice opening game for the team and for Coach Shrew

Seems like we came out tonight with Pickett leading the offense and Sessoms off the ball…but we had more success with Sam leading the offense, which we saw a lot more of down the stretch.

Good measuring stick game on Monday night at UMass. John should have his way again down low against Buttrick and Walker. But they’ll also look to draw Harrar and White away to defend the perimeter, which was our biggest issue tonight.

Overall pretty good win. The biggest gap I saw was YS's big man hitting 3 or 4 3's in that one stretch in the 2nd half. Took awhile to make an adjustment to put Harrar on someone else.

I love what we got from Harrar, Lundy, and Sessoms. Think Pickett can be another good scoring option.
