KC...................ok I now realize that Kentucky is operating above board and that all the other teams just can't recruit and coach. Life goes on. It's always go to get the straight stuff from an SME (subject matter expert). Thanks...........Warez

Didn't mean to be rude. Sorry. But UK, despite what folks want to believe, are doing it legally. They're under a microscope, and they'd have been caught by now if they did something.

What Cal has proven now is that he 100% can take your HS senior superstar child and get him in front of the cameras all season long, and place him in the NBA's 1st round............. it just a proven skill set at this point.

He got Daniel Orton drafted in the first round.................. think about that. That took serious marketing skills. The kid averaged 3 points a game.

Is he a used car salesman? Perhaps............. but a cheater, he is not. (insert Marcus Camby and Derrick Rose comment here). Both those instances, Cal was not punished nor even directly linked to the events that happened outside of his program.

I'm not saying Cal should be admired or looked up to................. but there is a level of respect for accomplishing something even the best (Coach K, Beoheim, Donovan) can't do.

It's fascinating that your over the top obsession with Bob Huggins now even extends to friends of Bob Huggins. You defend Calipari on WVU message boards like he is a member of your family.

If Bob Huggins said his favorite food was steaming dog crap, would you be on here trying to convince everyone of its wonderful organic flavor?

I've spoken with people who have recruited kids who have stated they were told that if hey came to Kentucky they didn't have to go to class. One and done kids technically can get away with it because of the way the academic calendar falls, so yes that isn't "cheating" but thats about as dirty as it gets if you ask me.

I went fishing with a Louisville fan and he just suddenly stood-up in the boat and gave testimony to the Lord that John Calipari, the University of Kentucky, and every Big Blue Fan in the world are nothing but low-life cheaters........ and then just sat down and started fishing again.

.....and that's a true story.

All NBA early-entrants must leave school in good academic standing or it leads to NCAA sanctions and loss of scholarships or post-season bans................ Cal does a great job at making sure his pros attend class and get passing grades when they are there.

Ole Paint...............are you saying that if it looks like a fish.............swims like a fish, stinks like a fish and drinks like a fish...........it may just be a fish? Hail................Calipari is flush with the jack............or at least it do appear that way. Can the Rest of Sports World be that stupid? I'll answer that. NO!

Ole Warez gets up pretty early ............................ and not just this morning. Here he is just before his first cuppa Joe.

Kentucky has crazy fan support

They sell out their Midnight madness, 26,000 plus routinely.
People leave Kentucky basketball ticket slots in their wills
They had 10,000 people show up at their shootaround the day before they played in the first round.
Fact of the matter is that most posters here would kill their own children to have WVU in their spot.
Calipari has a great situation and he also delivers consistently getting the best players in the country to play like a team. Yeah, he is a snake oil salesman who also knows how to coach and deliver on his promises. I always thought that some Italian coach like Valvano or Calipari would have great success in West Virginia. I can have respect for what people accomplish without suffering any illusions about them as human beings. People don't really hate Kentucky - they ENVY Kentucky.
