The Athletic published an article on "The Most Intriguing Women's College Basketball Players for 2020-21", and NU's own Lindsey Pulliam made the list:
7. Lindsey Pulliam, Northwestern
A high-volume shooter with nearly unlimited range and a steadfast mindset, Pulliam was the driving force in the Wildcats’ run to 26 wins last season, their most in school history, and a share of the Big Ten regular-season title. Pulliam averaged 18.8 points a game and surpassed the 20-point milestone 14 times, including 32 points against Michigan on Jan. 30. Only one major-conference player, Oklahoma State’s Vivian Grey, took more shots than the 523 attempted by Pulliam last season, and of those, 403 were 2-pointers, highlighting the success of her midrange game. Her only knock is her accuracy, which is a familiar refrain for someone who takes so many shots. She shot 38.6 percent last season, including 39.7 percent from inside the arc, though she increased her 3-point shooting from 18.2 percent as a sophomore to 35 percent as a junior.
Glad to see she is getting national props. She's a great player.
