Wow what a whining article. I wonder who has had the fairer treatment of officials over the years between Purdue and Northwestern. So there was a crew that let the game be more physical and your team didn't adjust.

I’ll go with what everybody says on this post, What a bunch of whiny *** purdooo fans them having the record they had is supposed to be the expectation at Purdue with Collins getting NU to the tournament when they were not expected to make a tourney and being picked 13th is way more impressive than what they did last year put a sock in it.
I think we are going to have a hard time with them tonight. Last time we came out of nowhere - this season they are both aware of NU being solid and they are playing like they have to prove something every time out - specifically Edey. He's mad because the pros don't have a first round pick for him and his size and skillset. Painter has the rest of the team playing with a huge "crapped out in the tournament" chip on their shoulder.
It is very hard to imagine that we’ll catch lightning in a bottle twice. But hopefully the longer we stay in it, the more they get nervous and think about last year.
Yep, will be real tough to win this game, but either way it gives a good barometer to where the team is.

Boo hoo, Purdue! The Boilers wilt under pressure once again, just as they did in the first round of the tourney. NU was so much more poised and resilient tonight.
I know it's splitting hairs, but it's technically two wins in the same year, as the last one was in February. Makes it that much more painful for Purdue.

Had courtside seats last year. Nearly punched a Purdue fan in the face. Instead flipped him off right before jumping on Matt Nicholson with 4 seconds left in the game
