Why is it pure class? Sounds like he doesn't want to attend the games. If I were AD, TO would have skybox seats for life. Is he really thinking of the program here? I'm not dogging him. Just reading between the lines.
That seems like way more than reading between the lines. I think you're reading an entirely different book. He says in the article he still plans to attend games and supports everyone. I think it's the right thing to do also because let's say he passes away - and the University has an awkward situation on their hands when they ask to take it from the Osborne family. This makes a clean transition and Osborne gets out of the way properly.

Is he planning on dying soon? He's got to watch the game somewhere (if he wants to watch the game). I can't see him attending every game (at his age) outside. So, what's the point of giving the skybox back to the athletic department? You're right. Most likely it's a non-starter. Just sounds like he doesn't want to attend the games any longer.

What he said.

Very classy decision but that is to be expected from him. He continues to say great things about Riley, Shawn, and the athletic department.

Did Sam not read the article and take note of the multiple times Osborne has thrown his support to Mike. Tom is too nice. I would have told Sam, "Read the article and then decide if that question needs to be asked."

Now, if TO called me up and said I could use his suite indefinitely than yes, pure class. :D

He probably would rather not fight the crowds and sit home and do shots and drink beer while watching it on TV.

Oh wait, that's me. :D
Unfortunately there's more and more people starting to think that way. Can we keep the streak going even with corporate help?

That is one of the reasons why Nebraska is widening the seats in the north stadium to make it more comfortable for fans. Wider seats also will help with continuing the sellout streak. Winking
Are the fans getting wider in the North Section? :)

I gave up the company Astros tickets because they were rarely used and it took too much effort to give them away on a regular basis.

I know, I know, class personified.

Hey, I'm thinking about giving the guy a call, invite him to a tailgate, throw back some Old Mil lights and a couple dozen wings. We're both about the same age. What can it hurt.
